Signature Gin & Tonic

This is how we serve a Gin & Tonic with our Dry Gin.

Recipe:
• 5cl Lydén Distillery Dry Gin
• 10cl Hammars Tonic Original
• Lingon Berries
• A sprig of fresh Rosemary

Some neutral tonic water that we prefer – Hammars Tonic Original, Fever Tree Indian Tonic or Thomas Henry Tonic Water

How to make it:
Start with filling your favorite glass with allot of ice. Then pour the Dry Gin and add some Lingon Berries. Fill the glass with a neutral tonic and finish with a fresh sprig of rosemary, which you lightly tap in your hand before putting it in the glass.

Serve and enjoy!

Pink Gin & Tonic

This is how we serve a Gin & Tonic with our new Pink Gin.

Recipe:
• 5cl Lydén Distillery Pink Gin
• 10cl Elderflower Tonic Water
• Sliced strawberry

How to make it:
Start with filling your favorite glass with allot of ice. Pour the Pink Gin and fill the glass with your favorite Elderflower Tonic and finish with a fresh sliced strawberry. Serve and enjoy!

Pink GGT (Gin, grape & tonic) 

Recipe:
• 5cl Lydén Distillery Dry Gin
• 5cl Fresh squeezed grapefruit juice
• 5cl Elderflower tonic
• A slice of grapefruit & sliced strawberries

How to make it:
Start with filling your favorite glass with allot of ice. Then pour equal parts Pink Gin, grapefruit juice and tonic. Garnish with a slice of grapefruit and strawberries.

Serve and enjoy!

“Brynt Smör Rabarber Sour”

Gin + Browned Butter = True love!

Recipe:
• 5cl Butter-washed Lydén Distillery Dry Gin *
• 3cl Freshly squeezed Lime Juice
• 2cl Rhubarb simple syrup
• 1cl Triple Sec

How to make it:
Butter-washed Lydén Distillery Dry Gin*
1. Brown 25g butter, let cool a bit and add 10cl Lydén Distillery Dry Gin.
2. Stir well and pour it into a plastic box or similar and put it in the freezer for about one hour, or until the butter has set.
3. Take out the box, strain the content of, for example through a
coffee filter and save the liquid! The solidified butter should not be used.
4.Shake all the ingredients, strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Serve and enjoy!

Cask Gin Negroni

Recipe:
• 3cl Lydén Distillery Cask Gin
• 3cl Carpano Botanic Bitter
• 3cl Antica Formula

How to make it:
Pour equal parts Cask Gin, Carpano Botanic Bitter & Antica Formula into a stirring glass. Next up, put a large piece of ice in to the stirring glass and stir gently for about 20 seconds for a perfect dilution. Strain into your favorite glass, with a large ice cube. Garnish with a orange zest.

Serve and enjoy!

• 5cl Fever Tree Mediterranean Tonic
• A slice of grapefruit

How to make it:
Start with filling your favorite glass with allot of ice. Then pour equal parts Dry Gin, grapefruit juice and tonic. Garnish with a slice of grapefruit.

Serve and enjoy!

Navy Gin & Tonic

This is how we serve a Gin & Tonic with our Navy Gin.

Recipe:
• 5cl Lydén Distillery Navy Gin
• 10cl Hammars Original Tonic
• A slice of grapefruit
• A sprig of fresh Rosemary

How to make it:
Start with filling your favorite glass with ice. Pour the Navy Gin and add a slice of grapefruit. Fill the glass with Hammars Original Tonic and finish with a fresh sprig of rosemary, which you lightly tap in your hand before putting it in the glass. 

Serve and enjoy!

Bee’s knees with a pinch of Salt 

Recipe:
• 5cl Lydén Distillery Dry Gin
• 3cl Freshly squeezed Lemon Juice
• 2,5cl Honeywater*
• 1 small pinch of sea salt
 A sprig of fresh Rosemary

How to make it:
*Mix one part hot water with two parts of honey until it dissolves.

Shake all the ingredients, strain into a chilled cocktail glass, garnish with a sprig of Rosemary.

Serve and enjoy!

Dry Martini

One of the worlds most classic and known cocktails, the Dry Martini.

Recipe:
• 6cl Lydén Distillery Navy Gin
• 10 ml Dry Vermouth
• Lemon zest

How to make it:
Pour Lydén Distillery Navy Gin and the Dry Vermouth into a stirring glass. Next up, put a large piece of ice in to the stirring glass and stir gently for about 20 seconds for a perfect dilution. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon zest.

Serve and enjoy!

Pre-batched Negroni

Why not pre-prepare a bottle to store in the fridge, as it is easy to pour it over an ice cube right in the glass, stir and serve with an orange zest.

 

Recipe:
1/3cl Lydén Distillery Gin
• 1/3cl Carpano Botanic Bitter
• 1/3clAntica Formula

How to make it:
Pour equal parts Lydén Distillery Gin, Carpano Botanic Bitter & Antica Formula into a bottle. Store the pre-batched Negroni-bottle in the fridge and when you are craving for a negroni – just pour it over an ice cube right in the glass, give it a stir stir and garnish with an orange zest.

Navytivo

Recipe:
4cl Lydén Distillery Navy Gin
2 dashes of Campari
• 10cl Ekobryggeriet Aperitivo Tonic
• A slice of grapefruit
• A sprig of fresh Rosemary

How to make it:
Start with filling your favorite glass with allot of ice. Then pour the Navy Gin, campari and add a slice of grapefruit. Fill the glass with tonic and finish with a fresh sprig of rosemary, which you lightly tap in your hand before putting it in the glass.

Serve and enjoy!

Dry Gin x Limoncello

A while ago Mathin Lundgren – the man behind the book Barmästarens Manual made a Limoncello on our Dry Gin and it turned out well. So good that we just have to share it!

Recipe:
35cl Lydén Distillery Dry Gin
• Peel from 4 lemons
• 20cl Fresh squeezed lemon juice
• 20cl caster sugar

How to make it:
Start by peeling the lemons, put the peel in a glass jar with a lid and add caster sugar and stir. Pour the gin and lemon juice. Give it a shake and leave for 24 hours. Strain the lemon peel, pour into a bottle and store it in the fridge. When it’s time to serve – pour it over an ice cube in to your favorite glass and garnish with an lemon zest.

Serve and enjoy!

Lingonberry Sour

Recipe:
5cl Lydén Distillery Dry Gin
• 3cl Fresh squeezed lemon juice
• 2cl Simple Syrup
• 1 Egg white
• About 10 frozen lingonberries
• 2-3 drops of Angostura Bitters 

How to make it:
Pour all ingredients into a shaker except Angostura Bitters and shake without ice, well to form a good foam. Fill the shaker with ice and shake again until it is cold. Double strain * up into a chilled cocktailglass and add 2-3 drops of Angostura Bitters.

Double strain* means that you use a finer strainer that catches things that others would slip through and the usual cocktail strainer.

Hanky Panky

Recipe:
3cl Lydén Distillery Navy Gin
3cl Red sweet Vermouth – Antica Formula
• 2-3 dashes of Fernet Branca 
• 1 Orange zest

How to make it:
Pour Lydén Distillery Navy Gin,the red sweet Vermouth and Fernet Branca into a stirring glass. Next up, put a large piece of ice in to the stirring glass and stir gently for about 20 seconds for a perfect dilution. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a orange zest.

Lingon Fizz

Recipe:
5cl Lydén Distillery Pink Gin
3cl Fresh squeezed lemon juice
• 2cl Simple Syrup
• 1 Egg white
• About 10 frozen lingonberries
• Soda water

How to make it:
Shake all the ingredients, except the soda water. Double strain* it into your favorite glass filled with ice and top with soda water. 

Double strain* means that you use a finer strainer that catches things that others would slip through and the usual cocktail strainer.

Serve and enjoy!

Cosmonaut

Recipe:
5cl Lydén Distillery Navy Gin
3cl Fresh squeezed lemon juice
3 Bar spoons of raspberry jam

How to make it:
Shake all the ingredients, double strain* into a chilled cocktail glass.

Double strain* means that you use a finer strainer that catches things that others would slip through and the usual cocktail strainer.
